About Me

My name is Josh Kodroff and I’m a technolgy craftsman living in Philadelphia. Craftsmanship, to me, means 3 things:

  1. An increased emphasis on quality in order to deliver the best long-term value to stakeholders.
  2. Empathy for my teammates, users, and clients.
  3. A commitment to continuously improving my skills, both technical and interpersonal.

I spent the first 12 years of my career in software development with an emphasis on message-driven architectures, domain-driven design, continuous integration/delivery, and agile (small “a”) tools and techniques.

My focus for the past 3 years has been in cloud-native computing, DevOps, and modern IT operations.

When I’m not working or doing code stuff I enjoy cooking, making music, and hiking in the Wissahickon.
